Multiple properties, close to multiple attractions, across the Midlands
All of our properties are located centrally, and have a wide array of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
However, for those feeling more adventurous, or with a little more time on their hands, the following places are some of our favourite attractions closeby.
From the solemn serenity of the National Memorial Arboretum to the vibrant wildlife encounters at Twycross Zoo, the splendid fairways of The Belfry Golf Resort, the family-friendly thrills of Drayton Manor, and the enchanting allure of Cannock Chase Forest, there is an abundance of wonders for everyone to discover.
The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance and home to over 400 symbolic memorials. Situated across a 150-acre site, amongst 25,000 maturing trees, the memorials pay tribute to those who have served our country, including the Armed Forces, civilian and emergency services, and UK charities.
The Arboretum features a contemporary visitor centre, events building, two children’s play areas, woodland walks, land train tours, buggy tours, exhibitions, restaurant, coffee shop and learning centre. Events and family activities are available.
With a 60-year history, Twycross Zoo has more than 500 animals, and is the only UK zoo which is home to all four species of great apes. They are proud of their reputation as a conservation centre with a history of breeding endangered species. Enjoy a wild day out for the whole family!
Twycross Zoo is also home to The Gruffalo Discovery Land. This brand new four-acre land brings together the much-loved characters from The Gruffalo. With real-life animals, animatronics, film clips and much more, you will encounter Mouse, Fox, Owl, Snake and the Gruffalo along an interactive journey through the deep dark wood.
Featuring three world class golf courses, which have previously hosted the Ryder Cup and Betfred British Masters.
With a luxurious and relaxing spa also available, there’s something for everyone in the heart of the countryside.
Drayton Manor Resort is the ultimate family day out, with a variety of exciting attractions including roller coasters, a zoo and Thomas Land.
Featuring some of Britain’s largest and most exciting rides, a fun and action-packed day is guaranteed.
Cannock Chase Forest is one of the best value days out that the Midlands has to offer.
With a children’s play area, Go Ape, orienteering trails and even a dog activity trail, you will not be stuck for something to do.
With a range of woodland walks to suit all ages and abilities, and for those wanting to explore the forest on two wheels, make sure to check out the cycling trails for some of the best family and mountain biking opportunities in the Midlands.
